Open for boozeness
Huzzah, one of the oldest bars in the city has reopened after a months-long hiatus! Same wonderful staff offering a "temporary" menu of Middle Eastern fare and traditional bar food (the onion rings and nachos were quite yummy). Welcome back!

We had a falafel pita wrap and the avocado patty sandwich with sweet potato fries last night and both were great - not your typical "bar food." Staff was very attentive, prices were very affordable and, as always, the beer selection is great.
We'll be back for dinner again soon.

Welcome back Z! As usual, eclectic, interesting and incredibly friendly staff...

... and for those of us who like nachos and gyros, the bar is straight-up awesome.
The people who need "class" and "coolness" in their bars can stay the hell up in Lawrenceville where they belong.

OMG, the Park House has no class AND no coolness??? This is terrible news!
Well, for those of us who are thirsty and bold enough to be uncool, the bar is just fine. They're a welcome presence on E. Ohio and I'm glad they're back.

I wouldn't say "the same wonderful staff". I'm glad it's open, but it lost all of its class, coolness and decent food about 3 years ago. Let's hope for improvements along the way.
