You are where?

Lookout220_1 How well do you know the Burgh?

StoverssmIn the first installment of Eye on Pittsburgh, Sports Editor Jody DiPerna successfully identified the location of the headless tuxmen (Vacca's Dry Cleaning in Bloomfield). She received a beer, lucky gal.

This week is a bit trickier. Where, pray tell, is this beefy, delicious, nut-crushing hunk of man located?

This photo was taken by Brighton Heights-based photographer Rob Strovers.

Strovers is a member of Watercolors Gallery, an artist co-op in the Cultural District at Penn and 9th, where he has several framed pieces on exhibit plus a select group of prints. He also has work on exhibit/sale at Kool Kat Designs on Washington Rd in Mt Lebanon, Typhoon on Braddock Ave in Regent Square, Richards Cafe on Penn Ave. in the Strip and in the Bella Arte Gallery on Ellsworth in Shadyside.

Strovers is a fixture of sorts in the Strip District on Saturdays (weather permitting) on Penn Ave. near 20th St. (adjacent to Hermanowski's) where he sets up an arts festival-style tent that straddles the sidewalk.

You are where?

Lookout220 Your Burgh knowledge put to the test.

Tux370How well do you know the Steel City? Not the historical sites you see on a Ducky Tour, rather the things you notice on a stroll along city streets or through the window of a bus.

For the first installment of Eye on Pittsburgh, identify the location of these three decapitated- yet dapper-fellows.

There are no prizes here (what do you think we're the Post-Gazette?) but if Santa is good to Dish, perhaps we'll send along a mug. That's a big if.
